The University of Chester’s Cat Radio enjoyed counting down the Student Radio Chart’s top 20 on Sunday evening at Warrington Campus.
The Student Radio Chart is the National Student Radio Chart Show, hosted every Sunday afternoon, playing on student radio stations across the country. It is produced by The Student Radio Association and The National Student Radio Chart Show and is the ‘only chart show that represents’ what the students are playing.
Last week’s edition was produced by Will Dell and Cat Warren, and included an interview with BBC’s The Voice winner Mo Jamil.
Students Michelle Homan, Richard Wolfenden and Golden Cat winner Craig Taphorn all hosted the show, whilst Lecturer and Cat Radio lover Michelle Ponting tweeted her excitement throughout.

The show proved to be a success, and ‘LAY IT ON ME’ by Ten Tonnes took the number #1 spot in the SRA Chart Show.
The National Student Radio Conference event is being held at Livewire at the University of East Anglia between the 4th to the 6th of April, promising to be ‘the most interesting, entertaining and successful events in the radio industry calendar.’ You can learn more by clicking HERE.
