University of Chester student Cat Warren has been awarded with an ‘Outstanding Contribution to a Student Radio’ Award from the Student Radio Association (SRA) from her work with TheCatRadio.
Cat studies Radio and Television Production on Warrington Campus, and has been recognised by SRA and awarded with the ‘Outstanding Contribution to a Student Radio Station’, for all her work with University of Chester’s very own TheCatRadio.

TheCatRadio is a radio on Warrington campus produced, directed and hosted by students at the University of Chester, and recently hosted the SRA Top 20 Coundown. The student radio also recently held it’s annual CatRadio awards, with winners from all three years and Masters being awarded for their top work hosting and producing on radio.
Cat produces her own show alongside co-host Will Dell on TheCatRadio every Friday form 17:00pm, titled ‘Friday’s Big Finish with Will Dell and Cat Warren,’ as well as hosting ‘Cat on the Cat’ on Saturday mornings.
Cat Warren showed her appreciation for lecturer and radio lover Michelle Ponting on Twitter: “Thank you for lighting my passion for radio Michelle.”
