Second year Sports Journalism student Josh McAllister visited non-league Ashton United to see how they rely on work from volunteers to function effectively as a football club.
The Evostik Northern Premier League side have over 30 people who willingly offer their time to ensure the club operates smoothly.
Josh developed this story for the Sports Broadcasting module on BA Sports Journalism where students are required to produce a sports news video package as part of their assessment.
