The 2019 Cat Radio Awards promise to be better than ever as we celebrate the talent at the multi-award winning student-run radio station.
Nominees are judged by industry professionals and winners will be announced on Wednesday 13th March 2019. It will be a glamorous evening and The Cat Media will be there to announce the winners live.
This year the awards are for Best Male, Best Female, Best Entertainment Programme, Best Speech Programming, Best Live Event or Outside Broadcast and Best Interview.
Radio Production programme leader Michelle Ponting is looking forward to another fabulous evening:
“It’s the social event of the year!,” said Michelle, whose students run the Warrington campus based Cat Radio.
“It is a great event organised by The Cat Radio management team to celebrate the good work of our presenters and producers over the past year.
“It’s also a fantastic opportunity for students to get feedback on their work from those who work in the industry.
“I’m looking forward to seeing who has won what this year and the special live performance we have planned for before the event.”
