Final year BA Journalism student Hana-Maryam Arshad produced this investigative documentary for her Production Dissertation to explore issues facing young Muslims whose creativity is challenging religious and cultural convention.
Speaking to musicians including drummers, pianists and rappers, and athletes such as female footballers and boxers, the documentary reveals how some young muslims have received criticism from their faith culture while others have found resistance from western culture.
