This series is an autobiographical interpretation of the element of Earth personified as a living organism.
Costumes are handcrafted using natural fabrics to higlight the importance of the connection between the artist and the creative process.
Earth is personified as being tranquil, nurturing and vibrant; highlighting the personal meditative state experienced whilst close to the element.
The images are saturated with the essence of Earth through a combination of handmade styling, natural locations, green colour scheme, simplistic makeup, shallow depth of field, soft facial expression and body language.
