On Wednesday 14th October 2020, the city of Liverpool was placed under Tier 3 restrictions in response to a rise in COVID-19 cases.
Alongside the closure of pubs and bars, restrictions prohibited fans from attending Premier League football matches, including the Merseyside derby.
Despite restrictions, small pockets of support continued.
This short selection of images seeks to highlight the closeness of Liverpool Football Club, its supporters and neighbouring residents, even during times of great uncertainty.
Elements of the images are packed closely together to highlight the intimacy of the relationship between the club and surrounding community.
